Free Hugs Campaign

I was fortunate enough to see Sick Puppies live the other night. From what I recall, the video footage of this was shot in Australia by the band members and friends (one of the band members worked near by where Juan Mann would operate the Free Hugs Campaign) but nothing was done with the footage until the band traveled to America for their debut. The band put together the footage to share with Juan Mann because he had befallen sad times, and the video took off on You Tube. I think it was my husband who showed me the video on You Tube a while back, but for some reason I had forgotten about this until I started looking up Sick Puppies after seeing them live the other night.

Sometimes, a hug is all what we need. Free hugs is a real life controversial story of Juan Mann, A man whos sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives. In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign became phenomenal. As this symbol of human hope spread accross the city, police and officials ordered the Free Hugs campaign BANNED.
