I got this list from the International Women's Day website, but I went through the media links and linked them to current articles being run on IWD, and if there were none, I deleted the link that the IWD website originally had up. Sure, there were old articles linked by IWD's website, but I think it's important for the media to continue coverage on IWD if they are to be considered as "supporters."

These are more current news article links about IWD:

Speakers highlight the need to fight tendencies of woman fighting against a woman
...
Humaira Awais Shahid underlined the importance of family as the inherent unit of any society, hence the women must work to change the medieval mindset of the males, be that their father, brother, son or husband. "We must all be united to fight off tendencies of woman fighting against a woman, a mother-in-law with her daughter-in-law, sisters to sisters to sisters-in-laws," she said, emphasising that what must be protected and discouraged 'continues to remain an open battle, enjoyed by the males.'

VOA News - Rallies, Celebrations Mark International Women's Day
Celebrated on March 8, International Women's Day is the global day recognizing all women around the world and intended to inspire them to achieve their full potential. In many countries it is an official holiday.

Strong women mean a strong world. That's something we all deserve.

I'm not going to bother with that Fox Business article about how IWD is "Code for 'Advancing Radical Feminism Around the Globe." Leave it to the king of misogyny to put out one of the only articles against International Women's Day. Oh, I'm sure I could find more anti-IWD articles if I really wanted to get irritated with MRA-types.

Not today.

I'm honoring today with a good mood. :)
